We needed to develop a complete brand system, powered by a mobile app that would break the current cycle that gym users go through and simultaneously build loyalty, increase engagement and provide real and social rewards to active users. The concept is called: Formula3.
As well as helping to create a new paradigm for the gym experience, we developed a modular brand system that can be endlessly combined to mirror the additive benefits of the Formula3 classes themselves.
The symbol is based on the three pillars that make up the Formula3 system: Flow, Fire, and Forge. Each represented by the circle, triangle, and square respectively. Each layer atop each other to signify balance within the system.
After brand development was underway, we worked with the Formula3 team to develop a pre-launch website to support and drive membership interest. In addition to securing clients, the web presence provided a launchpad to showcase the brand.
We worked with the Leisure Sports Innovation team to develop a mobile app that would help break the current 6-month gym cycle and simultaneously build loyalty, increase engagement and provide real and social rewards to active users.
After a successful pilot launch in Lafayette, California, Formula3 opened its second location in Portland, Oregon. With an engaged and active community of members, we continue to provide strategic digital branding services to the founders.
