When Levi Strauss & Co. approached us to redesign their corporate site, we realized there was a tremendous opportunity to tell the company's storied history.

The Challenge

From that point on, we set about pitching and ultimately designing a narrative experience. We focused on telling the holistic story of the brand in a personable, progressive way, focusing on three themes: who the company is, how they do business, and their values. The result: an immersive, dynamic tool LS&Co. can use to craft the next chapter in their story.

The Work

We created an experience with a robust content management system that allows LS&Co. to publish content at rapid speed and surface featured stories throughout the site for greater visibility.

We featured timely points of interest on the homepage and drove visitors to deeper content within the site – such as LS&Co.’s house of brands and their recruitment pipeline.

We continue to engage with LS&Co., and as specific needs arise we are on hand to help. We recently launched their first digital sustainability report, created an enhanced experience for their data science team to aid with recruitment, and added a page detailing LS&Co.’s diversity and inclusion initiatives.

The Results

After a successful launch, we immediately received great qualitative and quantitative feedback. Everyone felt the site was a major upgrade, with a simplified CMS (built on a custom WordPress installation) putting editorial power in the hands of the corporate communications team. And several months after launch and Google Analytics shows we’ve hit our primary metrics for success. Site and page visits are up, average session times have increased, and bounce rates have dropped.
