As part of a major refit of Macy’s Herald Square store, IRON was commissioned to produce Made of Progress – an 84" engaging interactive experience designed to educate and entertain.

The Challenge

We had to craft, design and develop an experience that delivered compelling content against Levi’s four main pillars of sustainability: materials, process, people, and environment. The application had to connect with the consumer in an emotional way while providing a subtle nod to the product on-floor.

The Strategy

We devised four separate paths through the experience that each delivered unique content and a unique customer experience. Each path was aligned with one of the brand’s sustainability pillars and each offered unique ways for customers to interact with the brand.

User Experience

An extensive user experience design phase yielded several exciting and unique approaches to brand storytelling. However, the logical and simple four path approach (reflecting Levi’s four pillars of sustainability), served the content in the most appropriate way.

Graphic Design

The goal was to maximize the assets available, creating visually stunning stories that captured the user’s imagination, and highlighted the brand’s leading-edge sustainability initiatives. Each story featured simple but delightful interactive elements that added depth and greater context to each narrative thread.
